SportsWeek Policies
At SportsWeek we ensure that your child's health and wellbeing is our primary focus. That is why our master coaches are qualified teachers and sports instructors with a current Criminal Records Check and are all first aid trained. We also take extra steps to ensure we have your permission to add content to social media and ensure that the behaviour of all athletes at SportsWeek allows for a positive experience for all.
Media Policy
At SportsWeek, our coaches will occasionally be taking photos and videos of our activities and children to showcase the memorable moments and memories that happen during the week. Your content is primarily used within our Instagram pages, summary emails to parents, and on the SportsWeek website. At times, this content may be used in marketing collateral, such as digital advertising, service flyers, brochures and other marketing purposes.
Behaviour Policy
Our coaches and educators are skilled in the art of behaviour management. They are proactive in their approaches and understand that every child has unique needs when it comes to behaviour. We champion the opportunity to make mistakes, learn, and grow as humans. Having said this, if a child's behaviour presents a risk to the safety of themselves or others we will contact their parent/guardian. In extreme cases, SportsWeek reserves the right to recommend that a child does not take any further part in individual or multiple days of SportsWeek.
Minimum Participation Numbers
What makes SportsWeek unique is that every individual athlete can plot their own pathway through the week. We have a plan for all eventualities and are excited for athletes to get some variety at our camps. Having said that, we want to maintain the quality of our sessions. If any of our sport choices fall below the required number, we will ask athletes to select their second choice for that session.
